The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) offers this definition:

health and wellbeing through the application
of the teachings and practices of yoga."

All of our Yoga Therapy students are admitted to the program with a minimum of 500 hours of yoga training.
Each year of Yoga Therapy training earns a student 300 additional hours.

PranaYoga's Yoga Therapist training program known as Yoga Cikitsa: The Therapeutic Application of Yoga has applied for accreditation by the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) and is currently being evaluated.
