Hansa, LMT, E-RYT500, left the corporate world in 1988 and received her Yoga certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Continuing to study, she takes classes in Viniyoga, Vedic Chanting, Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, and other Yoga programs. Incorporating her B.S. degree in Behavioral Science, Hansa has been able to develop a keen insight into the collaboration of the Body, Mind, and Spirit. She has studied and integrated diverse body oriented therapies including Kripalu Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Therapeutic Body work, Body Reading, Health Education, Homeopathy, and Ministry to facilitate Spirit connection. She holds an advisory position for the International Association of Yoga Therapy and is a member and past president of both Yoga Alliance and Yoga Teachers of Colorado. She is on the Board and acts as the Executive Director for SANGA, an educational non-profit organization. Hansa is the owner of Gentle Touch Body Mind and Spirit Connection offering massage and yoga classes to the local community and is the owner of PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala offering teacher training programs to the yoga community. She teaches classes for the Healthy Moves Program at the Auraria Campus. She is a Holistic Lifestyle Facilitator and her therapeutic work integrates Yoga Therapy and Massage. |

Patricia Hansen, M.A. E-RYT500, is a Yoga therapist, Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Lifestyle Consultant and National and International Yoga Teacher and Lecturer. Patricia has been studying and teaching yoga in Denver for over forty years. Patricia started teaching at the local YMCA in 1967 and at the Jewish Community Center in 1969. She developed the first prenatal yoga classes in the early 1970’s. Patricia established the first academic yoga classes in America through Metropolitan State College and the University of Denver. She received her master’s in Religious Studies from the University of Denver and her certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Lifestyle Consultant from the Ayurvedic Institute under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad. Patricia is a past President and founding member of Unity in Yoga International and Yoga Teachers of Colorado; a founding member of National Ayurvedic and Medical Association and International Association of Yoga Therapy; a member of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico; an executive board member of International Yoga Studies; past President Emeritus of the Yoga Alliance, co-founder, co-director and faculty member of the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda; faculty member of American Yoga College; and currently is sharing her Yoga knowledge and skills by serving on the Board of Sanga, a local non profit yoga educational organization while still serving as a faculty member at Metropolitan State College and maintaining a private Yoga and Ayurvedic practice. Patricia has studied with Swami Satchidananda, Yogi Bhajan, Rama Jyoti Vernon and many other teachers. She integrates all of the teachings to offer a beautiful yoga experience.

Karin Bustamante E-RYT500 started practicing yoga by taking one yoga class a week. This led her to meditating and studying yoga for many years. The dramatic impact on her life outlook and physical well-being motivated her to share her experience and start teaching. She has a deep interest in meditation and feels yoga practice makes it possible to maintain a daily meditation practice. She actively shares her enthusiasm and great respect for yoga by creating an atmosphere of empowerment that provides students the space to explore and listen to the wisdom of their own body. In addition to her experience as a yoga teacher and her commitment to her continued education, Karin is a Certified iRest Teacher from the Integrative Restoration Institute and leads several Yoga Teacher Training's in the Denver area. She enjoys exploring a wide range of yogic topics that include yoga philosophy, meditation, yoga nidra, exploration of chakras, or in-depth posture study and chanting.

Maggie Dick, RYT, completed her training with Hansa at the PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala in 2005. She began dabbling with yoga over 15 years ago and developed a regular practice about 10 years ago. To Maggie, yoga is a passion and a way of life. Maggie has been teaching yoga for 5 years. Her classes tend to be replenishing in nature while incorporating breathing, strength, flexibility and balance. Maggie enjoys working with students at all levels. She appreciates the community aspects yoga offers and is privileged to be working with many of the same students who attended her very first classes! In addition to teaching the Morning Refresher class at PranaYoga on Saturday, Maggie works full time at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. |

MahaJyoti Glassman, RYT, began her yoga journey in 1976 in the Ananda Marga tradition. She continues to further her understanding by studying with teachers from the US and abroad. MJ enjoys sharing yoga experiences with preschoolers, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities. Currently she is the director of one of the few yoga based preschools in the US. Dana Huskey believes that yoga offers many wonderful gifts to enhance physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She has developed a deep love for the practice because of the valuable lifestyle skills and healing it has provided her. Dana teaches to share the gifts of yoga and hopes to provide her students with life skills they can take ‘off the mat’ to create a balanced, healthy life. Dana formally began her studies of yoga 5 years ago and has studied locally under Hansa Knox and Patricia Hansen. She received her Level I Yoga Teacher Certification and Beginning Level Ayurveda Therapist Certification in 2007 at the Ayurveda Yoga Retreat Hospital in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, India. She is an ongoing student of Swami Amitananda. Dana is currently working on BA in Holistic Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching at Metropolitan State College of Denver. |

Kimberly Feres, Ph.D. has been practicing Vinyasa yoga in the T. Krishnamacharya lineage since 2002. According to Krishnamacharya, the teachings of this ancient healing system should be passed down to students directly through experienced mentors. In keeping with this tradition, Kim’s long-time mentor, Danielle Tarantola, of New York, studies under Kausthub Desikachar of Chennai, India, who is the son of T.K.V. Desikachar and the grandson of T. Krishnamacharya. Currently, Kim is wrapping up the final components of her 500-hour Yoga Teacher certification through the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation (www.KHYF.net). Her classes bring to light the subtle healing qualities of Yoga, and emphasize the linking of breath with movement in order to refresh the mind and body. Lynn Tran began practicing yoga seven years ago primarily as an exercise activity. Overtime her life experiences and her quest to delve deeper into the studies of yoga, meditation, and pranayama drew her to study under Hansa in the CYTT and PYTT programs.
