TBA: Chakra: the Inside Story module

This offering of the program has some additional hours that includes the Esoteric Anatomy course. Last offered: September 8, 2016 - June 8, 2017

This course expands your understanding of the subtle bodies including the cakra, nadī and their importance in understanding the benefits in the practice of āsana, prānāyāmā and other yoga tools.  Our study will be based on tantric Kashmir Shaivism and the expansion of “I” consciousness into the unique manifestation of our body. We will research the vritti, nasya, marmani and deity of each Matrika (letter).  We will discuss how the vibrational dynamic of the cakra influences the subtle body and our life.  We will explore practices and the applications of yoga tools to maintain inner body health, balance and harmony growing our Spirit awareness and enhancing life and our personal yoga practice.  With the inner understanding, the tools will overflow into your yoga teaching.  Textbooks required.

Part of our advanced training, this course is 115 hours (includes the Esoteric Anatomy course) specifically focused on this deep perspective of the Chakra system. Delve deep into the philosophy and concepts outlined to expand your teaching repertoire and continue fulfilling your desire to learn more.
