In each weekend presentation, Rama will:
  • Share insights gained through years of study and practice related to Patanjali's Yoga Sutras - on and off the mat.
  • Present them verse by verse, plus integrate experiential components so we can assimilate the essence within our own experience.
  • Introduce tools to blend the Sutras into our yoga teaching.
Attend as often as your schedule allows!

  • Each Friday session reviews the balance of material that is the focus for the weekend along with integration from previous weekends, establishing continuity from one weekend to the next.  
  • The weekend material will be a combination of lecture and experiential practices. 
    Some of the practices will be focused on the yoga tools of asana, pranayama, and meditation. Other experiences will be centered around practicing the teachings in life, and more will address how teachers can take the material into the classroom.
     
  • Registration is open.
    If you're unable to attend a full weekend, consider coming on Friday evening only.

Rama Jyoti Vernon, author of Yoga: The Practice of Myth & Sacred Geometry and internationally acclaimed yoga instructor and peace mediator, holds a deep knowledge of all aspects of yoga that has been instrumental to the foundation of contemporary yoga in the United States.  Her authentic approach evolved from decades of study with many great Masters. Rama has worked to promote unity across all lineages and styles of yoga. Her instruction is anchored in her deep knowledge of the Yoga Sutras and is focused always, on the breath.
