Begins TBA: Contemplative Sanskrit: An Introduction

The focus of the Contemplative Sanskrit Introduction is to enhance your skills and knowledge as a yoga teacher.

Why? Sanskrit is the language of yoga. As you understand the basic flow of the language, you will find the depth of the names of Äsana, the meanings of chants, and the symbols of the gods and goddesses.

The introductory training has several objectives:
You will learn to pronounce the Sanskrit sounds and observe the unique effect they have on the subtle and gross body.
You will learn the names of Äsana and understand their meaning, enabling you to share more with your yoga students.
You will expand your learning by deepening your connection to the sound and its use in balancing the subtle body through meditation and chanting.
You will learn basic Sanskrit grammar, opening the door for you to explore reading Sanskrit.
